How to Program a MERCEDES Truck Key

Keys
Some people have claimed that you can reprogram your Mercedes key. It's not the case. Once the key is paired, it cannot be used with any other car. The key has a specific design in its metal beam, and the Mercedes system looks for this and only recognizes that particular key. The blank MERCEDES truck keys are a different shape, and therefore will not function in the system.
The dealer will need to order from Mercedes the new key that is compatible with your vehicle. They do not have them in stock at the parts department. You'll need the original title or registration and an official driver's license or identity card or passport to present when picking up the key. This helps confirm that the person is the owner and not trying to steal the vehicle.
If you wish to have a representative or delegate take the keys for you, you will need all the above documentation and a signed letter of authorization that is signed by the owner. key truck authorized representative or delegate must also bring the car into the dealership in order to pick up keys. Contact the dealer if have any questions. They will be happy to assist. They will let you know that they have the key in stock or if you need to make an appointment with Mercedes for a fresh, compatible key for your vehicle.
Remotes
In certain MERCEDES models, the remote key has touchscreen that displays virtual buttons. When a button is touched, it sends infrared signals to control devices. A graphic interface program can be used to program the screen. The "buttons" that appear on the screen, are actually images of electronic circuit components. They include capacitors, resistors, inductors, potentiometers, diodes, transistors integrated circuits and switches.
It may be difficult to unlock the truck when you've locked your keys in the boot. This is due to the lock cylinder and door of the Mercedes-Benz may be damaged. It is possible to use a rope that has a slip-knot that you can use to tie the lock and then pull it out, but this method is not 100% secure. You may have to test it multiple times, or even contact an emergency locksmith or roadside assistance service to help open the truck without damaging it.
The lower case is equipped with an opening panel that is able to be opened to store the batteries. The panel is a light-brown color with white writing indicating the type of battery that should be used (UM-4/AAA). It also features an Plus sign and a Minus sign to indicate the direction the spring coils of the battery should go when installing the batteries.
Keyless Entry System
Utilizing a technology known as passive entry and go, SmartKeys with Keyless Go can unlock or start your vehicle even if the key isn't in. This is accomplished by the transponder that is built into each SmartKey that allows the vehicle to recognize the driver when it detects the key in close proximity.
The key transmits low-frequency signals which are detected from both the outside and inside the door handles. If the transmission matches the ID of the PASE module (Passive Access and Security electronics) the system will allow the key to act as a passkey that allows you to operate the vehicle.
These systems are designed to stop "replay attacks" which would allow hackers to record and replay control signals and use them to gain access to a car or a building. To stop this from happening the risk, a specific algorithm makes sure that each transmission sent by the key fob is distinct from the previous ones. This means that if someone captures one of these transmissions and tries to use it again, the car's PASE module will detect the attempt and deny access.
